Counselling website redesign

A redesign starts from the site you already have. Sometimes the words no longer sound like you. Sometimes the page is hard to read on a phone, or difficult to update.

You might already be embarrassed by the fees page, or aware that your photograph is years old and awkward to change. You might feel that the site was written in a hurry when you qualified, and it has not caught up with the work you do now. Those are ordinary reasons to look again.

Refresh, or begin again

I look at what is there and tell you which route I think is better. A refresh keeps the useful parts and reworks what is getting in the way. A new site is the cleaner choice when the structure itself is wrong. I’ll say which, and what it would cost, before we start.

A redesign is priced from the site you already have. A new one-page website starts at £250, described on affordable counselling websites.

What should still feel like you

Your name, your way of working, and the people you already see. I still work as a counsellor, and I’m wary of a redesign that turns a careful practice into a louder one. The aim is a site someone can trust, on a phone and on a larger screen, with wording you can stand by.

I’m based in North Yorkshire and I do this remotely for counsellors and therapists throughout England and the wider UK. Page titles and descriptions can be part of the quote, or left for later. I don’t promise rankings. There is more on SEO for counsellors. If you are starting from nothing, website design for counsellors is the better place to begin.

Practice websites

These are sites I have designed. They are not shown here as before-and-after redesigns. If you already have a website, I’ll look at that site and quote the work on its own terms.

If this sounds like your practice

A few lines is enough. I’ll reply myself, usually within two working days, and I’ll tell you the cost before anything starts.
